Summary:

AHM (an IQVIA company) is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join our growing compliance center of excellence.  AHM has long been the U.S. industry leader in Speaker Bureau Management. We are a leading global provider of solutions that enable effective and compliant engagements with healthcare professionals and organizations.  Our healthcare software solutions allow HCPs to view and manage all activity relating to engagements with a Life Sciences company delivering a unique combination of innovative technology and exceptional support services.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, innovative and solutions oriented, and have practical and proven experience selling to the life sciences, pharmaceutical and biotechnology marketplace. 



Responsibilities:

  • Focus exclusively on new business acquisition and revenue development for the AHM services business. Building and executing on plan for achieving quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Attain a thorough understanding of the company's services, solutions and capabilities and how they differentiate from competitors.
  • Manage the entire Sales Cycle; prospecting through contract execution, including writing proposals, correspondence, lead and demand generation campaigns.
  • Prepare customized proposals and price quotes in response to inquiries and to address the needs of the prospect.
  • Determine appropriate sales/client win strategy, leverage appropriate internal resources to facilitate sales strategy, fully manages all key steps and milestones to drive to agreement to purchase.
  • Develop/present value proposition, business case and financial justification to client decision makers to successfully secure new business opportunities.
  • Quarterback the contract negotiation process and ensures timely closure to signed contract. 
  • Obtain competitive intelligence to help drive company strategy.
  • Participate in industry and professional conferences and other promotional and marketing programs sponsored by the company in order to develop leads and market intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to be hands on; willing to write proposals and RFP’s, create/maintain sales plans, updates, tracking and ability to collaborate with key decision makers inside and outside of the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in developing deep/wide relationships in client organizations.
  • Understands and has experience with Speaker Bureau’s
  • Understands the value of speaker and consulting programs to medical device and pharmaceutical companies
  • Verified success meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience selling to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
  • Comfortable using Microsoft office suite of products along with SalesForce.com CRM tool preferred
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Successful track record in growing accounts and consistently maintaining positive client relationships
  • Clear cut verbal and presentation skills/ability to present to senior leadership

  • Nice to have:
    • Several years in selling software solutions sales role
    • Knowledge of the commercial sector and eco-system (Veeva, IQVIA, MDM, Aggregate Spend, Cvent)
