Job Summary

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for reporting the company revenue cycle and managing the revenue triggers.  This position will assist in the invoicing schedule, identifying the invoice triggers.  This position requires tight deadlines, strong organizational skills and timely analysis.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Manage accurate and timely monthly revenue close. Coordinating meetings with operational Senior Managers to review status of order, metric completion and revenue each order based on the Revenue Recognition Policy.
  • Manage Revenue Triggers, reconciling outstanding triggers, maintaining backup of these triggers for audit.
  • Perform SAP entries for Revenue Processing, Invoicing and forecasting
  • Review CRM daily for closed orders & orders move than stage 4 for entry into SAP and revenue trackers.
  • Assist with the Accounts Receivable invoicing schedule; with weekly invoicing requests to Accountant
  • Assist with the Deferred Revenue schedule, reconciling to revenue, invoicing and SAP
  • Perform order & revenue reconciliation for ongoing and cancelled orders
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation to support orders and revenues booked, according to company standards
  • Assist in maintaining Accounts Receivable client invoicing guide
  • PIF processing
  • Special projects
  • Provide backup to others in group during absences
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

​This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Demonstrated experience with GAAP

Skill Requirements

  • Strong analytical and excel skills
  • Ability to work independently or in group setting
  • SAP & Hyperion experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Sr. Directors and Management
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
