Role Summary:
Develops new business for a specific product specialty, providing the product expertise and sales leadership to identify & qualify revenue opportunities, proactively manage the selling process, and close the sale in both existing and new accounts.


  • Achieves growth & revenue targets for assigned product through a consultative sales approach that solves client business issues.
  • Proactively strengthens in-depth knowledge of suite of provider solutions and their applicability within a client’s enterprise.
  • Participates with Account Directors to establish account planning strategy as it relates to assigned product area.
  • Collaborates with Customer Team to target and validate opportunities for assigned customers / territory.
  • Interfaces with customers at all levels, including all members of the C-Suite. Creates and presents client proposals that result in closure of deals.
  • Identifies and manages resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA™ capabilities & solutions to customers.
  • Monitors delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Seeks “starburst” opportunities within existing customers to grow revenue opportunities across the IQVIA™ suite of offerings.
  • Actively and continuously develops thought leadership on key industry issues, needs and solution landscape to act as a value-added strategic partner to clients.
  • Represents IQVIA™ at conferences, industry trade shows and related events, and cultivates strategic opportunities as a result of attendance.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years of relevant solution sales, delivery or account management experience at a top-flight consulting, healthcare business intelligence/analytics or related organization.
  • Possesses knowledge of key marketplace issues/needs for the evolving provider/payer/ACO market and related businesses.
  • Deep knowledge of one or more IQVIA™ specialty products along with subject matter expertise relating to client business processes that are improved by the IQVIA™ solution.
  • Familiar with IQVIA™ offerings and account management.
  • Demonstrated track record and success in selling solutions to provider clients (e.g. revenue targets met/exceeded, recognition of top-tier performance, etc.), excellent presentation/writing skills, ability to act with a sense of urgency, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business case of healthcare business intelligence/analytics solutions, create C-suite-facing ROI analyses and negotiate engagements with creativity and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated C-Suite level relationships in the provider, payer, ACO or related markets.
