REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Manage CODE’s growing European presence with overarching responsibility to assure that deployment targets are being met and that the country organization deliver to pre-defined growth targets.

Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and management to Country Managers

  • Provides line leadership and coaching to all country managers and their teams
  • Sets and reviews country targets in collaboration with the Initiative Lead and the Technology Lead
  • Serves as the point of escalation from countries to central management and facilitates alignment and issue resolutions

Operationally manages the overall approach to the creation of the ODN at country level, including the deployment of IQVIA’s solution to healthcare providers across Europe, working closely with the programme’s central Technical Lead.

  • Defines and reviews country engagement and deployment plans; direct line management of the EU Account Director
  • Steers and mitigates cross-European engagement and deployment issues
  • Anticipates and proactively addresses peak demand issues in the countries and impact on Central Technology

Builds high-performing country teams who integrate best practices

  • Helps to attract and retain top talent
  • Oversees the country teams’ career development
  • Actively promotes shared learning across country deployment teams and facilitates knowledge communities
  • Closely collaborates with the Initiative Lead, Technical Lead and Central Workstream Leads

4.       Oversees external Contractual and Vendor Relationships 

  • Providers operational and managerial oversight as part of the governance of country compliance to IQVIA and external frameworks
  • Governance and point of escalation for country-based 3rd party vendors, namely:
    • Software partners of Health Care Providers that run the patient databases on site and extract data into our solution
    • Specialist firms involved in the CoTrack architecture, e.g. Trusted Third Parties that host and process the programme’s data
  • Leadership and alignment of central and country based resources, who manage vendor relationships on a day to day basis

5.       Oversees operational processes across the programme and assures alignment with IQVIA functional teams and EDEN’s central programme management office, particularly with regards to:

  • Budget definition, review and tracking
  • Programme planning & steering
  • Resource management process
  • Operating Model implementation
  • Vendor and Contract management

Country based operating managers

  • Deployment planning and steering
  • Engagement and Deployment Resource planning
  • Budget review and expense tracking
  • Vendor management responsibilities
