The Regional Lab Lead has the primary responsibility/accountability to identify opportunities and participate in the development of operational strategies, tactics and resources required to optimize the project value.
 
 
Job Duties:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Project by:
  • Execute Services, including those listed herein, in compliance with all training received.
  • Recruiting, interviewing and recommending personnel for recruitment and hiring 
  • Be responsible for training, supervising, and managing IQVIA IES Force personnel, including conducting performance reviews, resolving personnel issues, and taking disciplinary action, as appropriate
  • Communicating with PLL on regular and timely basis
  • Ride along on field visits with LSSs and LSLs to assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; monitor and manage performance of LSSs and LSLs
  • Review and approve time entries, expense reports
  • Monitor compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, the Protocol, Policies and Procedures and Applicable Law as reflected in the SOPs, Work Instructions, Protocol, Policies and Procedures.
  • Educate HCPs, staff, and other relevant stakeholders on Project and related activities, including on specific limitations of Project (i.e., use with on-label patients only and limited to scheduling as recommended in the Product Prescribing Information)
  • Perform compliant HCP visits based on Lab Test Assignments scheduled through the Scheduling System and using POC Equipment consistent with FDA-cleared and/or approved uses, and package inserts, and other directions for use that accompany such POC Equipment
  • Provide oversight to assigned LSSs and LSLs
  • Input reporting and notes post assignment and refer any pertinent information to the PLL
  • Meet all established KPIs, as agreed in writing by the parties
  • Report all Adverse Events in accordance with the requirements of the MSA and as agreed in writing
  • Adhere to established goals and the Protocol at 100% compliance
  • The RLL will be the face of the Project to HCPs/Customers scheduling lab monitoring for patients, and as such will perform in a professional manner, including but not limited to dress, conversation, privacy and safety
  • Will provide availability to personnel operating the Scheduling System at least 4 weeks in advance and ensure their electronics calendar is up to date
  • Respond to all scheduling requests for Lab Test Assignments within 8 business hours of notification
  • Compliance with the applicable provisions of the MSA
  • Management of assigned travel and commercial budgets within applicable SOPs, Work Instructions, the Protocol, and applicable Policies and Procedures
  • Any additional duties as assigned by IQVIA Project management and PLL
  • Confirm with US HCP, at each Lab Test Assignment, that usage of Project is on-label in accordance with Product Prescribing Information, using approved resources for documenting confirmation

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • EMT II or III, Med/Lab Tech, or Nurse with all current and valid license(s)
  • Previous experience working in/with Labs or POC device (4+ years)  
  • Previous Manager experience (4+ years) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and provide oversight with LSS staff to build the best customer experience and partnership for the project
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to examine business environment and develop/execute in response to market opportunities
  • Ability to travel (60 - 80%)
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and deliver results
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with third parties
  • Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to attain a passing grade on all tests and certifications required to perform Services in the Territory
