Role Purpose:

Engaging with the regional Headquarters of Pharma, Biotech and MedTech and their Medical Affairs and Evidence generation functions to position and drive sales for IQVIA’s suite of Real-World offerings. Understand client’s evidence needs and propose the right solution that best helps fill their evidence gaps. Collaborate with the internal Real world regional and country teams to help design the best solution for the customer that will in turn drive sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, map and engage key stakeholders at clients to understand business priorities, and evidence needs across the region
  • Build and advance sustainable relationships with Medical affairs, Evidence Leads, and Market access functions to position IQVIA’s product and service offerings within the Real-world space
  • Proactively create new opportunities, engage early to enable shaping RFPs and creating customer solutions
  • Work with the strategy leads, Pricing and Proposals teams as well as Principals to progress opportunities through to closure
  • Prioritize accounts with maximum potential and devise a plan for each based on launch pipeline, commercial plans and regional decision-making nature
  • Account planning for selected accounts in collaboration with all relevant client-facing teams
  • Devise long-term strategy to secure and/or increase customer penetration, orchestrate multi-disciplinary and multi-country team engagements
  • Lead key Regional or multi-country strategic and/or large opportunities that are critical to achieving financial goals by driving key decisions
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the competitive position and ability to link/connect different needs to secure wins and drive new and innovative solutions by orchestrating multi-functional teams
  • Identify key conferences relevant to the business and collaborate with marketing to drive IQVIA’s thought leadership in these events from time to time and leverage the platform for further engagement with key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science/business/health related field with 6-8 years of relevant experience in health industry preferable working in the Real-World Late Phase, HEOR or similar space
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent demonstrated ability to drive sales results balancing multiple clients
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
  • Good understanding of financial principles, profitability measures and pricing strategies.
  • Reasonable understanding of other adjacent IQVIA offerings
  • Ability to work independently and engage stakeholders across organization both internally and externally
  • Proven leadership in strategic/partnership client management
  • Ability to travel within the region from time to time
