We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Clinical Recruiter to join our team.

Clinical Recruiter (virtual/remote position) 

Support the continuous improvement of the staffing function through development and implementation for all staffing programs for our clinical recruiting team, with a primary focus on Medical Science Liaisons and Clinical Nurse Educators. With guidance, conduct recruiting activity for management teams as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with management in assigned service areas, business units or departments to source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant positions using cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
  • Write job postings to post and advertise positions.
  • Review applications and conduct interviews to obtain information regarding applicant's work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Create and coordinate job advertising in various media. Attend job fairs and develop and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other organizations to identify potential applicants.
  • Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates. Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Meet with functional business leaders and executive management, as required, to discuss and establish staffing objectives and ensure they are achieved.
  • Assist with training line management on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required.
  • Support a diverse workforce and comply with local and regional hiring guidelines and procedures, particularly for applicant tracking.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates; coordinate with the compensation team on salary offer considerations and equity concerns.
  • Ensure the provision of timely employee-related information to management teams as necessary.
  • May be responsible for meeting established financial targets and assisting with business development activities depending on business line.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors; BSN or RN strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of full-life-cycle clinical staffing experience in the pharmaceutical, hospital or agency environment required.
  • 2+ years of full life-cycle experience in the Medical Science Liaison and Clinical Nurse Educator markets required.  
  • 2+ years of sourcing experience with working knowledge of sourcing methodologies that include social media, networking sites, database mining, cold calling required; AIRs certification a plus
  • 2+ years in a recruiting consultative role with direct interaction with hiring managers/customers
  • Experience with behavioral based interviewing required
  • Strong network of clinical candidates, nurses, clinical educators, MSL prospects
  • Understanding of employment law and regulations pertaining to hiring
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high volume deadline driven environment.
  • Agency experience a strong plus

Physical Requirements:

 Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech or the use of other communication systems such as email or instant communicator

• Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers or other equipment such as voice recognition software that will provide access to electronic data

• Regular sitting for extended periods of time

• Occasional travel may be required
