PURPOSE

Manages the operational aspects of projects and programs. Will ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices.

Preferable: Worked on Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry projects

• Experience in preparing project schedules using Microsoft project.

• Knowledge on SDLC.

• Ability to work with global teams in overlapping time zones.

• Coordinate with engineering functions to ensure project milestones are on track and meet the expected release timelines.

• Provide regular status updates with respect to RAG status of the projects to internal and senior level management.

• Hands on experience working on Agile and waterfall methodology projects.

• Experience in Scrum Master role is preferable with hands-on experience in running Scrum calls and facilitation of resolving impediments

• Hands on experience on Tools – JIRA, CONFLUENCE, Microsoft Project.

• Function as the primary client interface representing technical operations

• Facilitate and lead requirements gathering discussions with multiple clients; create scoping documents for new study start-ups and existing software systems

• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

• May be assigned responsibility for sub-projects or specific components of the project or program

• Create, track and report on technical project timelines throughout the system development life cycle

• Create change order documentation; and work with internal project resources in all departments to obtain required estimates and approvals

• Manage customer expectations for scope and timing of developing system functionality

• Manage project timelines and quality; determine resource needs; identify out-of-scope work

• Produce and distribute status, tracking and financial reports for internal and external team members and senior management

• Coordinate with other project resources within and outside the organization

• Monitor and manage efforts of cross-functional project teams, such as business development, system analysts, data managers, developers, software quality analysts, technical support, production services, and their managers.

• Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met

• Lead problem solving and resolution efforts

• Maintain project management information and tracking systems

• Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements

• Produce and distribute reports and presentation materials

• Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings

• Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures



Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Good project management skills (JIRA, CONFLUENCE, Microsoft Project)

• Good customer service skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with collecting requirements and leading projects as a PM through software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Previous experience with clinical data management systems (CDMS) preferred

• Good problem solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics

• Good team leadership skills

• Sound judgment and decision making skills

• Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

• Ability to work with limited supervision, using available resources, e.g., functional managers, senior staff

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree and 4-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
