We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for a Project Lead to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. In this role you will be supporting a pharmaceutical company recognized worldwide for their innovative medicines they provide to patients, physicians and healthcare organizations.
Project Lead
The Project Lead (PL) is responsible for being the primary contact and for managing all aspects of sales representatives and a clinical nurse educator. The PL works closely with the customer to develop ongoing strategy and align activities/metrics to the customers organizational and project goals based on on-going project analysis.  The PL also works closely with Field to provide coaching and guidance on aligning business objectives, team performance and professional development.  Additional responsibilities include supporting The Customer and IES staff in achievement of project objectives through team building, coaching, training, motivating and managing; ensuring budgets are controlled and standards and performance meet or exceed objectives; ensuring all Team and associated projects are compliant with The Customer and IQVIA regulatory and standard operating procedures. 
1. Manage and support the IQVIA/The Customer relationship at all times.
  • Maintain primary availability as IQVIA contact on all field issues and react quickly to resolve any disputes
  • Maintain contact with appropriate Customer personnel as needed
  • Attend IQVIA/The Customer meetings as required
  • Attend all national/ regional meetings as required
 2. Provide strategic direction to project
  • Work closely with The Customer to evaluate current strategies and evolve to meet future business need
  • Work closely with customer brand and field managers to ensure execution of strategy
  • Provide cross project communications gaining alignment to strategy
 3. Direct Management Team
  • Provide coaching and guidance to achieve business objectives
  • Build effective relationships across management team
  • Ensure managers deliver project standards
  • Provide guidance on training imperatives across project
  • Provide professional development to management staff
 4. Ultimately responsible for overall project administration
  • Ensure project operates within budget
  • Review/approve expenses
  • Review/Approve performance management reviews

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing / health related field or Life Sciences required; Masters Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in the following (combined) areas: Pharmaceutical Industry, Healthcare, Project / Direct Report Management, required
  • Experience managing sales teams, preferred
  • Experience managing pharmaceutical nurse educators, preferred
  • Advanced computer skills knowledge and data base knowledge helpful. 
  • Financial / Business acumen including oversight in expense reporting, activity reports and business planning. 
  • Ability to meet travel demands (70% time in field, other travel may be required)
