  • Expertise in Solarwinds Orion both SAM and NPM (Implementation and support)
  • Depth technical Knowledge in Solarwinds Orion implementation, upgrade and operations
  • Willingness to work on support
  • Serve in the role of technical subject matter expert, refining existing functional requirements for monitoring and event management tools and participating in the development of an integrated monitoring/event management tooling strategy and architecture.
  • To be responsible for the delivery of assigned projects on the Monitoring Roadmap for the Orion area
  • Should have a good knowledge and understanding of monitoring area
  • To maintain and improve the standards within the Monitoring group and to evangelize good practice.
  • Collaborates with system management and system architects to assess near- and long-term capacity needs. Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to Monitoring configuration, mapping, processes and service records.
  • To assist with improving the standard of technical delivery and competencies within the technical teams.
  • Conducts research on Monitoring products, services, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the various Monitoring industry.
  • Oversees new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
  • Interacts and assists in negotiations with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure Monitoring products and services are implemented according to business requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Monitors Systems performance and troubleshoots problem areas as needed.
  • Practices Monitoring System asset management, including maintenance of System component inventory and related documentation.
  • Participates in design documentation of Monitoring related solutions and maintain the same.
  • Plan, engineer and implement robust and cost-effective computing environments, exploiting emerging technologies to provide compelling solutions.

  • Very good communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal). Should have exposure to US and UK Culture.
  • Should have good presentation, analytical and reporting skills.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Information Management or business related fields preferred 3 years business experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech

Extensive use of keyboard and mouse requiring repetitive motion of fingers and wrists

Regular sitting for extended periods of time

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to perform duties outside working hours. This will be managed according to the applicable country legislation.
