Position Purpose:

IQVIA Regulatory Intelligence provide customers with regulatory intelligence from more than 110 regulatory organizations. IQVIA Regulatory Intelligence supports pharmaceutical and medical device companies by providing access to up to date and comprehensive original and translated regulatory documents, expert country summaries, tabulated comparative regulatory information covering operational details and timely alerts through state-of-the-art functionality.

We are looking for a Product Manager to drive our offering development projects and execute on our product roadmap. In this role you will play a Key role in defining and scaping the future of regulatory intelligence by bringing innovative solutions to the market. You will be working in a cross functional team providing regulatory intelligence content into other systems and offerings across IQVIA. Your understanding of regulatory requirements and the use of regulatory information combined with understanding of regulatory systems will be essential when scoping and executing the projects.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Works with Offering Owner to identify and scope future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products to support decision making
  • Engages independently with internal customers to define and describe product requirement
  • Scopes, manages and executes offering development projects to ensure timely delivery
  • Works cross functionally to ensure that the offering meets customer needs
  • Oversees and manages the resources assigned to support the offering development process
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Serves as point of contact for the development team to clarify requirements as needed
  • Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Experience with regulatory intelligence and regulatory information
  • Experience with tools used for regulatory, safety, clinical and quality compliance
  • Demonstrated project management, program management, and team facilitation skills required.
  • Direct experience developing, planning and implementing records management and information governance programs. 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment: Building and managing peer and management-level relationships through achievement of results, accountable to schedule, and allocation of resources and meeting customer needs.
  • Industry experience in a regulated or legal environment and clear understanding of government regulatory requirements (GMP, GCP, GLP) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM), Information Governance Professional (IGP) or related certifications are desirable.
  • Understanding of principles of database management, enterprise architecture, and systems analysis is preferred.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry would be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff across multiple departments and with service providers.
  • Solution and results oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the drug development process preferred.
