The Salesforce professional will:

  • Implement and update software systems in accordance with the needs of the organization.
  • Evaluate, schedule, and be a key lead resource with development projects
  • Support management in the development and growth of the CRM practice area.

Job Overview:

  • Defines and Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
  • Partner with practice leads and account executives to understand client opportunities, prioritize use cases and backlog that will deliver significant value to the organization.
  • Interact with software vendors, Infrastructure services, and/or Applications Development to restore service and/or correct core problems.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on CRM projects and integrations; drive projects from start to finish, including analysis, design, development, testing/validation, and implementation phases.
  • Coordinate with project and program managers to plan, develop, and execute schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones.
  • Work with leadership to develop and maintain a roadmap for the CRM practice area that accounts for both tools/methods and client commitments to generate confidence in sharing committed dates with IQVIA leadership and our customers.
  • Coordinate with internal service providers and clients in the area of incident, problem, and change management, capacity planning and troubleshooting, representing the interests of IQVIA projects
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholder, vendors, and technical contributors to help advance the needs of the project and have support and allies to turn to when issues arise.
  • Comprehensively and coherently documents work in Confluence, JIRA or equivalent
  • Preforms Automation, writes test plans and detailed test scripts supporting test cases derived from an analysis of functional requirements and programming specifications.
  • Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation.
  • Documents and works to resolve all problems. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
  • Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
  • Establishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance. Establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests.
  • Perform code reviews and optimization of existing queries.

Basic Requirements:

  • Managing Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups.
  • Maintaining Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications.
  • Working with Tools like Data Loader
  • Troubleshooting production issues and working with the users and technical team to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Administration and support of SFDC including but not limited to managing multiple user management setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow rules and validations.
  • Experience in managing user roles, profiles, security, workflows, processes, interfaces and process flows
  • Providing support on Salesforce.com support requests
  • Technical documentation related to process and products used for training

Nice to have:

  • Preferred Knowledge and Experience-Salesforce.com Certified Administrator
  • Develops a full understanding of all relevant medical data and the data processing platform in which it resides.
  • Experience in Health Cloud

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related fields with 12 years business experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
 • 8 plus years’ experience in Salesforce.com administrative and support tasks
