We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.  

Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will lead a team of representatives in promoting and selling healthcare products to general practitioners and other healthcare professionals. The Sales Manager will develop and deliver the sales strategy and serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace and thus, be able to react appropriately to that market as needed. They will also be responsible for delivering on all contractual obligations as agreed to by the client and IQVIA.


  • 4 year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Minimum 5 years in field leadership/management experience within the healthcare/pharma industries required
  • Strong ability to communicate and work cross-functionally within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a district/region towards meeting and
    exceeding objectives
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decision
    making skills
  • Coach and council sales representatives in the field to reinforce product knowledge, core selling message and role model best practices
  • Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview and select Sales Representatives
  • Responsible for overall staff supervision and management within given territory.
  • Handle performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline and termination of Sales Representatives
  • Manage administrative responsibilities, including pre-call planning, territory management and material inventory.
  • Make regular Field Visits (defined as a ride-along with the Sales Representative): to develop and motivate Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives; to monitor compliance with the law; to assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; to monitor and manage field reporting by Sales Representatives, including call reporting, and sample reporting (when applicable)
  • Communicate with client and other sales representatives on regular and timely basis
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings
  • Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies.
  • Monitor compliance with promotional program, and proper use of promotional materials and promotional expense budgets
  • Monitor compliance with PDMA and sample accountability procedures, when applicable
  • Monitor time-keeping and attendance
  • Maintain a fully staffed and productive region, by managing vacancies and turnover though active involvement in the recruitment and selection process.
