  • Oversee day-to-day processing operations, Coach, Mentor Payroll Coordinators and Associates
  • Participate in the Annual Review process for Coordinators and Associates
  • Troubleshoot and Advise Team on operational, system and legal issues daily
  • Banking:
    • Monitor Bank Transactions daily and Distribute ACH Failures to the team for processing
    • Record Banking Details on the Payroll Worksheet
    • Create Funding Reports
  • Prepare Stock Reports for Data Entry by the Team
  • Reconcile the Stock Transactions Quarterly
  • Manage File Compare process each pay period
  • Assure SOX Controls are completed and up to date
  • Complete Sox Quarterly Salary Compare workbook to include periodic headcount and salary data
  • Complete and Distribute the Annual Payroll Schedule & Calendar
  • Perform system testing as required
  • Support implementation of changes to policies and procedures
  • Ensure process documentation is updates on a regular basis
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with Special Projects such as Acquisitions, Audits, etc.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  •  Knowledge of Payroll Processing and Processing Systems
  •  Knowledge of Workday HR
  •  Excellent written and verbal communications are must
  •  Ability to lead others in a respectful, professional manner
  •  Willingness to provide constructive criticism to Payroll Associates and Coordinators
  •  Ability to lead meetings both virtually and in on-site settings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  • Ability to maintain Confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize own workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to be flexible during key year-end, year-begin and during project implementations
  • Ability to work independently and work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment






MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  •   3 years Payroll experience in a large corporation required; Over 3 years of experience preferred
  •   Multi-State and Local Tax experience
  •   Multi-legal entity payroll
  •   Stock Transactions reporting
  •   Complex Payroll transactions/calculations


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication
