Job Summary

The Patient Consent Trainer is responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for the Patient Consent Team. The Trainer is responsible for assessing technical and soft skill training needs to drive training initiatives. This position will identify and arrange suitable training solutions and is responsible for actively searching, creatively designing and implementing effective methods to educate and enhance performance on internal teams, as well as support clients who use our SaaS product, ICF Author.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
• Onboarding new hires, managing training schedules and completion of assessment at end of new hire workshop
• Conducts technical and soft skill training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and reports; understanding job-specific functions and tasks.
• Determines technical training objectives and develops appropriate training material.
• Interacts with subject matter experts to design course content.
• Writes scalable, repeatable training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and exercises
• Continually improves training programs based on results and feedback from the Operations team and learners
• Conducts training classes by presenting job-specific, company-specific, and system applications and processes as required.
• Interacts with respective departments in scheduling training programs.
• Participates in and conducts technical training programs.
• Monitors effectiveness of training by analyzing feedback and metrics to continuously strengthen course content and materials.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and training on organization process standards.
• Evaluates training by evaluating effectiveness of training to specific job applications.
• Maintains safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Must be proficient on both legacy and new patient consent systems.
• Develop methods of evaluation (KPI's) of employee comprehension and understanding.
• Conducts virtual trainings (Webinars) both group and on demand one on one.
• Provides coaching to employees that may be struggling with particular tasks.
• Provides support for offshore questions and assistance within email and slack.
• Must have the ability to periodically work "off" hours when needed to support offshore personnel.

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge

Requires deep, expert-level knowledge of current and legacy Patient Consent systems, processes and quality standards.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Additional Work Experience

At least 1 year experience using Patient Consent at an advanced level

Experience training entry-level staff

Experience creating and conducting training programs
