The Technology Solutions division of IQVIA develops, markets, and implements healthcare-focused enterprise software applications to help life sciences customers drive their business from molecule to market.


Partnerships

Our Partnerships team engages 3rd parties such as System Integrators, Technology Vendors, Data Partners, and Agencies to build mutually beneficial, trusted relationships to accelerate growth within the Global Technology Solutions business. Each partner provides a unique value proposition to IQVIA through their services or solutions, and our goal is to maximize the return while building win-win relationships.

Technology Partners are integral to the success of IQVIA as we capitalize on our platform-of-platforms strategy - they provide technology solutions and/or integrations to the IQVIA Product Portfolio.


Role

As the Partner Account Director, Technology & Data Partners, you will develop and maintain key technology partner relationships and engage internal IQVIA team members on technology partner selection to ensure capability gaps are filled.


Specifically, you will:

  • Manage and lead a team of account managers focused on technology and data partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with globally strategic technology partners
  • Work with IQVIA Technology Solutions leadership to develop the technology and data partnerships strategy and execute upon it
  • Ensure internal alignment to partnerships strategy and delivery model
  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal stakeholder ecosystem in capitalizing on the platform-of-platforms strategy
  • Engage with Product Teams and Sales teams to align capability needs with our external partners
  • Seek to understand capability gaps and/or opportunities across product pillars
  • Monitor and identify risks (e.g., financial, competitive, etc.) around partners
  • Recommend potential solutions to capability gaps through a build/buy/partner lens
  • Negotiate with partner/vendor on agreements (e.g. volumes, products/services, etc.)

Skills

  • 10 years partnerships and/or business development experience with technology partners while holding senior-level relationships
  • Proven ability to work and collaborate in the technology/cloud services industry
  • Demonstrated success in establishing profitable “win-win” relationships
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural, global organization
  • Exceptional analytical, communication (both written and spoken), and presentation skills with the ability to operate with energy and flexibility
  • Self-starter with strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-profile relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical experience with spreadsheet analysis, public presentations, and data management.
  • Business, partner and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry a plus
  • BS/BA Degree
