Job description

As a Market Research Analyst at IQVIA, you will manage National and Patient syndicated product offerings, several supporting tools for assigned pharmaceutical accounts.  Clients rely on the MRA’s knowledge and expertise to provide direction and guidance with understanding the use and benefit of each offering as it relates to their business need.  They act as a liaison to assigned clients to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications, build recurring/adhoc deliverables to ensure client’s business needs and satisfaction have been met.

The role of a Market Research analyst:

  • Manage small, mid, or large Pharma accounts spanning IQVIA’s syndicated National and Patient product offerings
  • Ensures fulfillment of contract specifications for all National and Patient market research product offerings
  • Comfortable working with web-based business intelligence tools with ~35 syndicated product offerings
  • Partners with clients to derive optimum value from IQVIA products and services while identifying revenue opportunities
  • Research, analyze and respond to client inquiries that may be complex and non-routine, with appropriate team support or without assistance
  • Conducts product, service, and process training for clients and IQVIA employees
  • May represent IQVIA on external client projects related to National and Patient offerings
  • Actively participates in client education
  • Client focused, flexible, able to multitask, excellent time management skills and a team player who is also able to work independently
  • Day-to-day contact builds, establishes & maintains effective business relationships with client to support their questions & requests
  • Monitors performance against existing SLA’s and ensures client’s obligations are met


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of IQVIA National products and services preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical knowledge / experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Effective communicator (written and oral)
  • Ability to understand complex concepts, processes while multitasking, managing time, and prioritizing.
  • Meeting facilitation, presentation, and training experience a plus.
