Position Description: 

Our Traveling Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity in this per diem role to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.

You will be responsible for installing both hardware and software in healthcare systems throughout the US. This role will also see you educating staff within the healthcare systems for the automated medication dispensing device being supported within this role. This is a great opportunity for you to advance your technical and leadership skills! 

We are hiring immediately with an expected start date to begin within several weeks of completing internal onboarding. This position requires you to travel 100% nationally and requires open availability Monday through Friday. The position would see you working on average 30-40 hours per week as needed at each site location.


·Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices; installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products

·Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations

·Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration

·Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs

·Per-diem position requiring national travel on a weekly basis and open flexibility 

Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments

Job Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; at least 2 years relevant experience will be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree

· An active and unrestricted driver license is required for this position

·Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system 

·Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices 

·Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds 

·Ability to travel nationally on a weekly basis

Beneficial Experience:

·3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred

·Experience in IT field, IT Help desk preferred by not required

·Experience in pharmacy technician, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, electronics, electrical, or technical work is beneficial for this position

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

The pay range for this role is $24.00 - $30.00 hourly. The actual pay will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies. Certain roles at IQVIA are eligible for annual bonus,sales incentives and/or stock. Benefits may include healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and more.
