Position Summary

The Multichannel Marketing Advisory Services Consultant helps our clients improve their multichannel marketing maturity. Evaluating client needs against a defined IQVIA multichannel maturity framework, the Consultant draws upon best practices across insight generation, operational pull through and technology and data platforms to frame actionable next steps specific to the client’s needs. The Consultant works closely with the client teams with support from an extended team of IQVIA subject matter experts and leadership across multiple engagements to help drive client success. This role draws upon broad pharmaceutical marketing execution experience and familiarity with IQVIA’s Multichannel Marketing COE tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the life sciences marketing maturity scale and leverage this understanding to advise clients on prioritization of next steps and projects to make stepwise progress along that scale. Balance organizational priorities and political realities against best practices to help form actionable and achievable plans.
  • Leverage consultative approach and IQVIA Springboard workshop approach to rapidly evaluate clients’ current states and align client stakeholders around path forward. Assist in workshop facilitation, output capture, documentation and follow through on action items.
  • Create, iterate and maintain client facing deliverables capturing current state evaluations and path forward recommendations. Help present recommendations to client leadership.
  • Build relationships with client stakeholders and IQVIA Subject Matter Experts, and leverage those relationships and expertise appropriately to drive client engagement success.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on IQVIA’s Multichannel Marketing suite of service and technology offerings
  • Provide ongoing input to IQVIA MCM frameworks for evaluating client maturity.
  • Develop client-specific roadmaps for maturity growth.


  • 5+ years relevant experience in life sciences sales and marketing execution across operations, insights and technology
  • 3+ years in client-facing consulting or advisory services
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Knowledge of multichannel marketing systems such as campaign automation, marketing data warehouses and content management systems, including their usage, business value and interconnectivity
  • Proven experience in presentation creation, delivery and meeting facilitation

    As well as:

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage being a part of multiple client and internal teams and projects simultaneously
  • Good business analysis / redesign skills
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in the capturing of client information, with a corresponding focus on the packaging and summarization of relevant information back to multiple levels of leadership
  • Excellent spoken and written presentation skills with attention to detail in information formatting, presentation and grammar
  • Willingness to travel frequently within driving range and occasionally by air for presentations and project work
  • An ability to understand technical concepts and articulate them in excellent English, as well as translate our clients’ commercial requests into a technical framework
