Essential Functions

  • Works with pharma client Field Reps, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s) and HCP Speakers to plan end-to-end details for Speaker Bureau programs.  The planner is directly responsible:  A) working with client Rep to plan a compliant program from speaker eligibility and selection, topic choice, invitations and meeting reconciliation; B) working with speaker to confirm his/her availability, travel requirements and processing the speaker payments.
  • Trains to provide day to day guidance and support to clients
  • Learns the technical skills necessary to answer client queries and maintain logs and ensure follow through
  • Develops the interpersonal skills necessary to build effective business relationships with defined clients
  • Develops an understanding of clients’ potential business needs
  • Develops the knowledge to ensure accurate and timely communication of support issues to relevant departments (i.e. Account Management, Support, SMM)
  • Provides support to other team members

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in meeting planning, hospitality or travel industry
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient in PC applications,especially Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels in the IQVIA and client organization (written and oral).
  • Ability to carry out some analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on routine matters.
