Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience
 
  • Advanced science/clinical degree from an accredited institution (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD) with relevant clinical or therapeutic experience (preferred) OR
  • Masters level degree from an accredited institution, in health sciences with relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience OR
  • Other medically-qualified licensure with extensive years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience
  • Minimum 5 years MSL experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team of MSL’s required
  • Infectious disease experience preferred
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and progression within a medical affairs department
  • Develops the team to achieve their maximum potential based on their needs and the needs of the organization through performance coaching, development and mentoring
  • Knowledge of US healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care  
  • Ability to use field-based electronic or other communication tools for all aspects of job, as required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the compliance issues concerning medical affairs functions
