Leverages business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions;

Conducts primary and secondary research, and analyzes research to identify key findings and learning;

Creates sections of reports, presentations, workshops and other client deliverables, under general guidance from experienced team leaders;

Communicates findings and recommendations;

Assists with proposals developments;

Performs quantitative or qualitative analysis to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client deliverables;

Develops broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities;

Serves as the day-to-day project module leader and working closely with clients. Leads some learning, development and recruiting programs;

Works independently or as part of a team, with some responsibility developing the career and skills of staff by coaching and sharing.

Plans, organizes, and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives;

Executes high quality research and analysis;

Designs, structures and delivers client reports and presentations;

Develops client relationships through face-to-face discussions or workshops, telephone or email contact;

Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and new leads;

Supports the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements. Supports development of proposals;

Develops broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and training;

Coaches project team members and supporting them to fulfill their personal objectives. Coaches junior staff (not just in projects); Leads some learning, development and recruiting activities.

Whom we are looking for?

Consultant (MBA Internship)

Strong academic track record including MBA or relevant graduate degree; Passionate in pharmaceutical industry or consulting business;

Prior experience or avid interest in the healthcare and life science industries. Some project management experience;

3 or more years relevant experience either in consulting with module leader experience or strong business acumen from industry;

Adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge; Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals;

Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline;

Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace. Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies. Effective time management skills.

Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of related experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry;

Possesses solid project management skills and client influencing and relationship building skills; Experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression; A track record in team work and in developing and leading people;

Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry;

Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines;

Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area, and also key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries;

Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills; Has established network and referral contacts.
