We are currently looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to drive the communication and leadership strategy across our Australian and New Zealand business. The preferred candidate will have experience in a highly matrixed organisation, and be able to demonstrate capabilities in developing and implementing strategies and plans to generate customer-centric growth and drive reputation. This is 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

  • Support & drive collaboration between regions, business leaders, and other corporate functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of customer-specific marketing strategies.
  • Drive internal marketing strategy for ANZ by aligning with business leaders on their business priorities and successfully developing a marketing plan to implement across the region
  • Use innovative marketing tools and channels to promote company brand and messages. Effectively use social media and digital marketing tactics.
  • Develop and implement innovative communication strategies internally to ensure key messages from the leadership team are conveyed in a timely and effective manner across the region. Internal communication programs should support business goals and enhance global understanding of ANZ corporate strategy.
  • Partner with the regional corporate communications team to develop appropriate positioning and messaging and implement internal and external communication programs to reach news media and obtain adequate coverage of the company's growth and capabilities in business, trade and general press. Coordinates development of messages to shape company reputation.
  • Provide support and training to business leaders to prepare them to act as appropriate company representatives in external media and customer environments.
  • Contribute to market research and competitive intelligence efforts to fully understand and stay up-to-date on business needs.
  • Monitor and analyze internal and external data to develop business insights, implications and recommendations for action.
  • Management of local marketing events across the entire organization

To be successful in this role you will have 6 to 10 years prior experience in Marketing and Communications. You will have overall accountability of designing the marketing/communications plans for ANZ, while ensuing alignment with regional and global marketing teams. Aside from this, you will also be curious and show initiative, bring innovative and creative solutions to the table, have strong attention to detail, organisational skills and be a proactive hands on professional to get involved in all aspects of our business.
