PURPOSE

This role is part of the global marketing team at Q2 Solutions.  You will use quantitative methods, project management skills, and technical skills to create and manipulate complex first, second, and third-party data to discover patterns, relationships, opportunities and actionable insights to support global marketing strategies.

Candidate must be able to turn data into meaningful and actionable insights to help inform global marketing performance. You will be expected to provide original contributions such as advanced analytics applied to business problems in marketing, including optimization, reporting, machine learning and needed improvements to help drive results across all marketing platforms and programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES


•        Develop real-time reporting and actionable insights on marketing campaigns by product offering, service line segment, and marketing channel for use by the marketing team

  • Access, integrate, analyze and interpret customer, marketing and financial data

  • Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics, and measurement techniques

  • Provide insights that help answer marketing / business questions

  • Build predictive analytics, marketing channel mix modeling, and machine learning models to understand the digital customer journey

  • Provide timely and quantified recommendations in response to ad hoc analysis requests

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to profitably manage integrated campaigns by monitoring trends, extracting and analyzing data, identifying opportunities, developing and presenting recommendations, implementing the strategies and measuring impact

  • Collaborate with marketing team and stakeholders to determine analytics objectives, information needs;  ensure high data quality across all aspects of data and platforms

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to devise, test, and analyze Marketing programs related to loyalty, lead-buying, referral incentives, personalization of messaging

  • Identify, support, and implement new projects related to the overall improvement of Marketing business processes, serving as a key stakeholder for all aspects of the Marketing Analytics project life cycle (design, development, testing, implementation, monitoring, reporting, recommendations/insights)

  • Successfully manage and complete multiple concurrent projects with adherence to timelines and budget

  • Update and maintain corporate databases, dashboards and tracking tools as required; adhere to internal processes and procedures, and ensure accurate information is included in metric tracking and budget reports

  • Interface with external agencies, internal functional departments and shared service groups as appropriate to execute agreed-upon marketing plan and programs

  • Attends and participates in marketing, internal, and business partner teleconferences and meetings as necessary

  • Assist in communicating all marketing metrics / outputs to key internal stakeholders

  • Perform quality control edits on all documents before implementation to our internal or external customers

  • May participate in training initiatives to ensure global consistency  

  • Performs all other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in computer applications used to manipulate large, complex datasets; Uses analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data to inform decisions


•        Strong background with proven experience in digital analytics, measurement, modeling, and data quality

  • Experience in segmentation, web personalization and predictive modeling with proven results

  • Strong object-oriented programming skills (Java, Python, etc.); SQL, HTML, CSS, JIRA, and similar

  • Experience with marketing tools/platforms such as SiteCore 8.0, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google AdWords, Google Console, Google Trends, Moz SEO, SalesForce, Eloqua and other marketing platform technologies required

  • Experience with PowerBI, Omniscope, Spotfire, Domo, Tableau, Web Analytics, or other data visualization tools required

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (macros, VBA, charting, etc)

  • Ability to turn technical, data-driven reports into clear presentations and communications that drive business action

  • A strong desire to learn and passion for digital marketing analytics

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written, oral and presentation abilities; Excels in communicating complex quantitative analyses in clear, precise and actionable manner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong relationship management skills; ability to collaborate with people at all levels throughout the organization and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, managers, customers and business partners

  • Driven, self-directed and curious self-learner capable of prioritizing and advancing projects with minimal guidance

  • Proficient use of MS Office product suite

  • Ability to maintain demanding timelines

  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task, see big picture and work effectively within global, matrixed team environment



Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree required, in math, statistics, computer science, decision science or related field and asignificant experience in leveraging analytics and data science to drive business results; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.    

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech

  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers

  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time

  • Occasional travel, domestic and international
