Essential Functions

• Contact customers by phone to update account information
• Negotiate payment arrangements for monies owed
• Answer client questions and document any information needed to process the file
• Support supervisors in training/coaching of new employees
• Take appropriate action in problematic cases
• Protect the company’s interests by ensuring compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures
• Meet productivity and quality standards
• Collect active and charged off accounts
• Make agreements and find solutions with consumers
• Handle calls quickly and efficiently
• Follow up on accounts as appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of collections and/or accounts receivables experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with financial reporting systems.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good organizational skills
• Attentive to details
• Good communication both written and verbal
• Must be bilingual English and French
