Job description

This role is a critical strategic HR partner role with leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex and highly matrixed organizations, have superior analytical skills, balance human connection and empathy while driving business results and have a track record of building and transforming based on an understanding of business needs.

No day is the same but you will get the chance to do all of the below:

·Direct and manage an HR team through a direct line or matrix reporting structure ensuring high quality HR support and consultancy.

·Use data and facts to inform current decisions and influence towards future outcomes

·Partner with HR specialist functions like Learning and Development, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition to solve business needs and ensure appropriate delivery.

·Provide HR Partnering management coaching and counseling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business line/region goals.

·Design and lead implementation of solutions to enhance and grow the business, including organizational design and development, management and talent development, employee engagement initiatives along with others.

·Lead activities and initiatives associated with change management involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, onboarding and manager upskilling

·Ensure the communication of timely employee-related information to management teams as necessary.

·Provide advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management to senior management.


·Bachelor's Degree  

·Experience partnering with senior/executive management teams

·Excellent analytical problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills in highly complex situations

·Strong verbal and written communication skills and very good interpersonal skills, including expert coaching and counseling skills

·Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications

·Very effective persuasive influencing skills

·Organization and project management skills

·Excellent leadership skills

·Excellent presentation skills

·Strong ability to work in a matrix environment

·Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality

·Good attention to detail

·Ability to establish and maintain network of effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

·Extensive knowledge of the CRO, CSO or pharmaceutical and other related business industries desired

·Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation

·10 years experience as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience

·4 years direct line management experience
