RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for supporting digital Direct to Patient platform to meet the business needs. This includes:
    • Work with different clinical and operations functional areas to understand and capture business requirements
    • Drive change control and management of configurations and requirements at enterprise and operational level for post product release
    • Work with technical team to be conduit in assessing impact to internal business stakeholders (operations)
    • Work with external vendor in relaying requirements and ensuring that business requirements are visualized via visual layouts and prototypes.
  • Support product strategy initiatives:
    • Supporting adoption on new digital direct to patient technology with internal and external stakeholders
    • Support product strategy and capability development efforts by analyzing experiences and learnings from internal and external stakeholder interactions to identify new requirements
    • Support business feasibility activities to concept test new ideas
  • Support sales and business development efforts via:
    • Participation in bid defenses
    • Supporting pricing efforts and discussions
    • Material development for RFP submissions and early engagement meetings with Sponsors
 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of clinical applications or reporting mechanisms/processes relevant to direct to patient data collection (eCOA), including patient reported outcomes or clinician reported outcomes is desirable.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - Ability to present and communicate in Chinese is a must
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative internal and external business relationships, and work effectively with all levels of personnel across multidisciplinary teams globally.
 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Life Science, Business Management or related field and a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or related industry, experience to include clinical operations, CRA, Commercial and /or alternative operational functional (e.g. business development, data management, project management, laboratory, pre-clinical); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
 
PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Use of telephone/virtual meeting technology and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Working across geographies and different time-zones with an ability to appreciate cultural working differences.
  • May require occasional travel.
