IQVIA are delighted to be recruiting a key role in the operational delivery of a unique international project.  Our colleague will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the delivery of the IQVIA Commercial Contract Sales and Medical Solutions (CSMS) country-level business plan and supporting the achievement of the financial goals set for the business unit
  • Works in collaboration with colleagues in the CSMS business unit to support the development and implementation of service strategy.
  • Lead the CSMS team to enable engagement with local, national and or regional payer entities/organizations on behalf of clients and the organization to facilitate the approval, adoption and integration into the health services

Support the leadership of the CSMS services working with key colleagues across the wider IQVIA organisation. Collaborate with internal and external colleagues and departments across the organization to ensure effective delivery of objectives and to deliver yearly operational plans.  Line management of the CSMS Team, supporting high performance and investing in individual development of key talent and support the recruitment of new talent to meet ongoing business needs.  Provide leadership and role modelling through a variety of approaches e.g. coaching to ensure delivery excellence for all projects.  Manage new project set ups with input from client including appropriate and adequate resourcing, reporting requirements and clear plans to achieve project KPIs.  Complete project reviews with Project Director and Client Company by providing clear reporting against KPIs and internal financial reviews. Ensuring a wide skills base across the team to meet the different needs of customer projects as efficiently as possible. Ensure team members are effectively trained in key analytical techniques and are up to date on analytical approaches used within applicable agencies and by competitors.  Identify, develop and nurture effective working relationships with key opinion leaders and other strategic stakeholders in complex organizations (e.g. government agencies) exercising sound judgment in determining who to involve at particular stages of the project plan.  Contribute to the business development of new services by effectively liaising with colleagues in the CSMS business unit to ensure effective approaches to customer development are put in place and aligned with other business Identify the requisite data assets and infrastructure needed to deliver the service propositions. Work appropriately with internal and external stakeholders to keep up to date with developments in government/regulatory provisions for both commercial and research purposes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure quality of service delivery, in line with country Commercial Governance and Quality arrangements and in line with the relevant regulatory and legal requirements.  Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service as evidenced by regular customer feedback from both internal and external customers.   Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  •  Prior experience in managing delivery of patient support or market access projects
  •  Ability to work creatively in a fast paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines
  •  Excellent customer service skills
  •  Financial, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to develop and articulate recommendations and solutions based on this analysis.
  •  Strong organizational, planning, project management and logistics skills.
  •  Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  •  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
  •  Familiarity with relevant industry and legislative codes of conduct.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  •  Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry or agency environment with management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  •  Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  •  Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  •  Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
  •  Regular travel is required
