About the role!

IQVIA is hiring! We are recruiting a Director to head up the UK&I HR Operations/Employee Relations function. Within this role you will strategically direct and lead the planning, oversight, and implementation of the function, supporting all UK and Ireland business lines

Strong and engaging leadership will be key as you inspire a team of HR professionals to provide expertise, advice and local HR business partnering support to the business and ensure HR Operations works effectively with other HR functions to deliver an orchestrated and commercially effective HR plan

You won’t be alone! You’ll form part of an expert team of UK and pan European HR professionals and sit on the UK HR leadership team, together you’ll support the local business management teams to help drive business delivery and results in the UK&I. Key responsibilities will include -

  • Leading, managing and developing a team of HR professionals (Employee Relations and HR Operations Teams) in the UK and Ireland to enable them to deliver high quality, commercial HR support and consultancy to UK and Ireland based business lines, through a direct line or matrix reporting structure
  • Partnering with HR specialist functions/Centres of Excellence to ensure delivery against strategic business imperatives and delivering solutions to meet business needs
  • Managing the UK and Ireland HR Operations budget and managing expenses within budget allocations
  • Sponsoring and leading the implementation of local and global projects/initiatives within HR and across the business
  • Leading HR Partnering, management, coaching and counselling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business line/regional goals
  • Partnering with Business Unit Regional and Global HR Business Partners as required in the design and implementation of solutions to enhance and grow the business (including organizational design and development, management and talent development, and employee engagement initiatives) in alignment with and in support of the business goals and objectives
  • Supporting, as required activities and initiatives associated with change management involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, and transfers to ensure compliance with local legislation
  • Providing analytics and people reporting data to key managers to support business requirements
  • Providing advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management
