We are currently looking for an intern to join our Human Resources team in Milan.

As an intern with IQVIA, you will be responsible, under supervision, in supporting senior members of the local and Business Unit team in managing different types of activities such as:

  • Supporting the definition and analysis of monthly and quarterly HR reports based on internal databases (e.g. Workday): create ad hoc tracking system at employee level (as-is situation, open positions etc.) and defining associate timeline for next actions (project management activities)
  • Tracking and monitoring internal HR dynamics (performance management, compensation and benefits, headcount forecast etc.)
  • Supporting the BU leaders in the interpretation and enforcement of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Support local HR team in dealing with day-to-day activities (new joiners form, internal communications, maintenance and update of internal systems, internal HR ticketing system, management and organization of training programs)
  • Gaining experience in dealing with local and international HR dynamics within a multinational environment

Desired Skills and Experience

  • MSc degree with strong record of academic achievement, preferably in Political Science, Humanities, Management or Law
  • Previous experience in HR department would be considered a plus
  • Strong analytic background
  • Attention to details
  • Strong internal customer focus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: ability in working with Excel spreadsheets and Power Point presentations
  • Solid communication skills
  • Proficiency both in English and Italian
  • Strong interest in deepen knowledge on HR dynamics
  • Ability to be multi-tasking in a fast paced environment and to work on a team
