Job Description

Looking for an HR Specialist to lead a Benefits Harmonization project for a 6 month contract.


Incumbent will be responsible for bringing together two legacy companies on one benefits & pension program. As well they will contribute to the harmonization of HR policies, procedures, and programs and assist with the implementation of various HR plans.


More specifically they will:

  • Work closely with selected benefits provider to provide insight on our current program, system needs, etc., whilst liaising with 2 Legacy companies to ensure alignment.
  • Work closely with the HRIS and tech teams internally to ensure a smooth integration on the HRIS Platform - Workday (Benefits and Payroll) & Benefit Provider integration.
  • Organize timely benefits and pension employee sessions and communications pre-launch of new program.
  • Set up employee training sessions on new offerings & manage employee transition (open enrolment, etc.).
  • Responsible for managing the current benefits program and (ensure new employees are signed up, changes are processed, etc.)
  • Be the bridge with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Harmonization of Human Resources polices, programs and plans
  • Incumbent will be responsible for managing the Post-Go-Live period to make ensure the integration is running smoothly.
