About the role

We are recruiting a HR Business Partner to support our US Business Unit (USBU).

Reporting to the VP, HR, U.S. & Canada, within this role you will provide expertise, support and advice to your clients You’ll partner with members of the USBU leadership team as well as their respective leadership teams, establishing strategic goals and priorities to drive and support their business strategy. In addition, you’ll mentor and coach junior HR professionals, helping them to drive performance and deliver results for the business. Within this role you will: 

  • Develop and deliver overall HR strategy for assigned business groups within the USBU.
  • Provide data driven recommendations to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business needs.
  • Lead implementation of key HR Programs and Projects to effectively meet business needs.
  • Lead projects and process improvement activities related to employment legislation, HR systems, practices, procedures and compliance.
  • Execute on standard HR Programs and processes for assigned clients groups, including performance management, talent review, compensation cycles, retention activities, employee engagement etc.
  • Develop strong and effective team relationships with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence, e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent & Learning, HR Professional Services Center etc).
  • Provide advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management to senior management and employees.
  • Manage team members in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
  • Ensure the provision of timely employee-related information to management teams as necessary.

About you

  • Proven HRBP experience in a large scale, preferably global complex commercial or consulting  organization

  • Advanced technology skills, including Microsoft Office applications excel and Powerpoint and HRIS applications 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients 
  • Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent
  • Demonstrated and extensive experience as an HRBP generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience and experience operating with senior/executive management teams; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
