PURPOSE

Lead the accounting and financial compliance functions for Q2 Solution’s global business to meet internal and external financial reporting requirements. Includes full responsibility for revenue, billing, DSOs, statutory tax, audit assurance, and liaising with IQVIA shared service centers to ensure optimal service delivery and cost.  Advise executive management on various financial issues. To ensure timely and accurate accounting and reports in accordance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes Oxley rules as well as local GAAP and tax rules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Has lead responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for all countries where Q2 Solutions operates
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Analyze and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Coordinate preparation for financial, tax, and related audits (internal, external and financial authority).
  • Establish and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Serve as primary backup to Chief Financial Officer
  • Drive analytics and automation to enhance accuracy efficiency of billing and accounting functions
  • Contribute to discussions on implementation of business growth strategies on a regional/ country/division/unit basis and implement objectives as appropriate.
  • Ensure staff have a consistent understanding and positive impression of business strategy for their respective business unit/division/country
  • Support M&A activity inclusive of due diligence and integration
  • Direct financial reporting and other policy development/integration of new corporate initiatives.
  • Effectively manage team resources and delegate tasks commensurate with skill level. Evaluate workload and quality
  • through regular review.
  • Manage a global staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning,
  • assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining
  • employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters,
  • including salary administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have strong executive presence to represent Q2 Solutions to shareholders and their teams

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree, CPA qualified (or equivalent) and 12 years’ experience in accounting including 3 years’ line

management experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
