We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for Field Coordinators to join our team of over 10,000 global field employees in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
 
This exciting opportunity is with IQVIA who has partnered with Avadel Specialty Pharmaceuticals to build an entirely new commercial and medical organization to support the pending launch and future development of their new product.  This new product, once available, will be the first and only product approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of nocturia due to nocturnal polyuria. Nocturia is a medical condition which results in frequent nighttime urination, which may prevent patients from experiencing a normal, restful sleep cycle. Nocturia is associated with a number of co-morbidities and health-related consequences, and is often misdiagnosed and undertreated.
 
Field Coordinator
 
The Field Coordinator will lead a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives in promoting and selling healthcare products to general practitioners and other healthcare professionals. The Field Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring execution of the sales strategy set forth by Avadel Pharmaceuticals and their sales leadership team. They will also be responsible for delivering on all contractual obligations as agreed to by the client and IQVIA.
 
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment of Sales Representatives
  • Handle performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline and termination of Sales Representatives
  • Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies
  • Conduct quarterly field visits with Sales Representatives as schedule permits in order to: assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; to monitor and manage field reporting, including call reporting; to implement performance or disciplinary plans.
  • Communicate with Customer field/regional managers on regular and timely basis
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of training, and periodic sales meetings

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience:
  • 4 year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University required
  • Two (2) plus years outside sales experience, selling to healthcare professional in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry.
  • Two (2) plus year’s previous pharmaceutical/biotech management experience, managing a team of successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel field sales representatives to reinforce product knowledge & core selling message, role model best practices and uncover/communicate local market access conditions
  • Ability to leverage tools and data to conduct sales analytics in order to guide decisions and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire towards meeting and exceeding objectives
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel
