The Role

This is an opportunity for a confident and experienced leader to play an integral role in the development and growth of these ground-breaking initiatives. The Account Management Expert will directly report to the SVP and play and integral role in building EDEN (both ODN and T-SEN) and driving our European growth path. This related to current and future target markets. The overarching responsibility of the Account Management Expert is to provide expertise in complex Account Management and support country Teams in contracting with hospitals to join the EDEN. He/she will be fundamental to ensure that the country organisations meet their pre-defined growth targets.


Distinct responsibilities of the Account Management Expert are:

Assuring a robust, consistent and cohesive account management processes and reviews across all markets and initiatives

  • Conduct frequent review sessions on the engagement pipeline (face to face and TC)
  • Acting as a thought partner and advisor for country teams in the pipeline review
  • Challenge country teams with the progress in their engagement and support them in problem solving
  • Work with the Account management consultant in ensure appropriate follow-up of activities
  • Support the Network Lead in defining consistent Account Management Approaches across Europe

Provide coaching in Account Management to country teams

  • Share expertise in complex Account Management with teams by working with them on current accounts
  • Coach teams on complex multi-stakeholder account management

Support reporting process and escalation when required

  • Work with Network Lead in ensuring appropriate reporting of pipeline status
  • Ensure CRM is used for Account Management and Reporting
  • Escalate issues appropriately

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years of managerial and sales experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the health care sector and pharmaceutical industry
  • Extensive experience in contracting with complex university hospitals in at least 2 European Markets
  • Experience in working in an agile and Entrepreneurial environment
  • Extensive experience in selling complex products/ services to the healthcare sector
  • Extensive Experience in working with international sales and account management teams
