Job Description

Principal Duties
a) Project and Profit Management
•The Project Manager will be assigned multiple projects to manage dependent on scale and/or complexity
•Provide Planning, Scheduling and Management of projects and team member resources
•Efficiently manage the schedule and resource of the project teams to fulfill customer
requirements and meet their implementation deadlines
•Plan the delivery of all services listed in the Statement of Work (SOW)
•Ensure that appropriate reports are written for all the appropriate deliverables
•Develop a plan and schedule with the customer for optimum delivery of project, which will ensure integration of Pilgrim’s software products with the customer’s existing
infrastructure, systems and applications
•Maintain progress reviews of project tasks and team member assignments
•Coordinate work activities associated with the project
•Escalate any issues that cannot be immediately resolved to the Director
•Ensure that all team members’ work is reviewed and verified before submission to the
appropriate parties
•Provide for employee development within the team, mentoring of team members and support in the resolution of customer issues
b) Process Improvement
•Support the development of policies, processes, methodologies and procedures for the Global Services department to include personnel utilization, certification and training, cost of services, types of services offering, service workbooks/materials, services output/delivery, third party service providers, project management, educational services, technical services, validation services, services support and services contracts
•Mentor and coach Global Services personnel in the service delivery methodology and processes, and motivate the Global Services team members to meet utilization and project goals
c) Team and Resource Management
•Responsible for managing all resources assigned to the team to maximize the team’s productivity and quality of work
•Responsible to implement, monitor and enforce Pilgrim project management methodologies
•Assign projects, duties and tasks to team members and ensure that all assignments are executed effectively
•Ensure that all team members are certified and qualified to perform the tasks assigned to them
•Work directly with Pilgrim’s approved subcontractors if a project requires more resources or a different skill set than available within his/her team
•Responsible for ensuring that all department policies, procedures, processes and methodologies are being followed
d) Mentoring and Coaching
•Teach and mentor Project Management methodology and any other relevant skills to team members
•Continue to improve own knowledge of Pilgrim’s products, quality standards, industry and technology to better serve the internal and external customers
e) Other Duties as Assigned
Other tasks related to the department, such as special projects or research, will be completed as assigned
Decision Making
•The Project Manager is responsible for making decisions on implementation schedule, assignment of tasks to project team members and time allocation for each project element in support of customer satisfaction for the final installation/ implementation of the product
•Will participate in decisions on the pricing of the services that are sold, special terms and conditions necessary to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction, services strategy and services process
Supervisory Responsibility
Overseeing all personnel assigned to projects to optimize productivity and quality.
Dollar Responsibility
Ensuring that projects do not exceed expenditures provided for in the customer’s original or amended Purchase Order unless scope changes.
