Essentially, the Swedish environment (Healthcare professional and Payers) are focusing on getting the right product to the right patient at the right time within an increasingly complex healthcare environment.  As this represents an area of growth for IQVIA we are expanding the Market Access team in the Nordics and are looking for an Market Access Manager to provide leading edge solutions, manage projects and assist with business development opportunities across our range of offerings.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide knowledge and marketing skills about the county councils in Sweden and other Nordic systems; structuring project approaches, taking accountability for project delivery, reacting to changing timelines and requirements whilst delivering on commitments to time and to budget.
  • Lead interactions with different types of Payers within the Swedish regions across a range of interesting, challenging and varied projects.
  • Address the Payers’ needs and assist to develop business opportunities and solutions towards the Swedish regions.
  • Design and structure workshops and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience and of the specific project.
  • Explain complex concepts and frameworks (internally) and place these in appropriate to Payers’ situations and context.
  • Seeking out and identifying new revenue opportunities at existing and prospective customers, like Payers within the Swedish regions or clients within the Pharma Industry.
  • Provides support in proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to the identified customer.
  • Serves as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem solving skills.
  • Support the team’s leader on reviewing and updating our offerings towards the customers at the Swedish regions but also towards the customers within the Pharma Companies
  • Maintaining in-depth and current knowledge of Payers’ strategies, business issues and relationships.
  • Remaining current on the Swedish regions, competitive trends and directions in order to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues at both new and assigned customers. 
  • Contribute to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA Local Market Access in the market place, e.g. through speaking engagements, face to face meetings with customers etc. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES  

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated related experience
  • An understanding and deep knowledge of the local Market Access environment in Sweden is essential
  • In depth experience of negotiation preferably, ideally with health and life sciences project experience
  • Working knowledge of different projects within the regions in Sweden
  • Track record of managing large complex projects. Ability to deal with Payers scoping requests, and to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the Swedish regions and also within the Pharma companies
  • Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills
  • Possesses the necessary subject matter expertise and project management skills able to effectively manage projects across more than one practice area
  • Fluent in Swedish; proficiency in other Nordic languages an asset
