Job Description

The Systems Integration function is primarily focused on implementing Life Sciences Managed Markets contracting and pricing software solutions.

Role Summary:
Responsible for the planning, development, management and delivery of on-time and on-budget completion of Systems Integration projects for clients in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industries. Engagement Managers will supervise and provide day-to-day direction to teams of 3 to 10+ consultants on a project, and develop relationships with peers and executives on the client side. Engagement Mangers are expected to work under minimal supervision. This role will work closely with IMS senior sales executives building and responding to proposals of prospective clients.

Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience working with clients in the Pharmaceutical industry
- 7+ years’ experience in a consultative role with management background, PMP certification preferred not required
- Sound understanding of the implementation of Managed Markets applications
- Familiar with Revitas, Model N or Vistex is highly preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skill
- Strong capability in managing projects and juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high quality outcomes
- Experience of working in sizable/ multi-disciplined teams and supervising staff
- Ability to lead a team and mentor younger professionals
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients up to the Vice President level
- Very strong Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, Visio, and MS Project skills

- Lead all aspects of a large project to a successful outcome
- Supervise, evaluate, and mentor Senior Consultants (with 3-7 years of experience)
- Participate in the delivery of training to Consultants
- Develop a strong working relationship with Executive/Senior Director-level client staff
- Lead client meetings and presentations
- Facilitate workshops with clients
- Conduct interviews with clients
- Identify, escalate, and propose solutions to issues to appropriate authority
- Develop and present progress reports
- Create full proposals and marketing presentations
- Develop and manage project plans and budgets
- Develop and manage the invoicing and payment cycle with clients
- Assist the Managed Markets consulting practice with developing new service offerings
- Assist IMS - Managed Markets marketing by contributing to white papers and speaking at conferences
- Providing direction, advice and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams. Direct consulting teams through consistent participation in team meeting
- Ensuring clear communication throughout projects and amongst team

- A willingness and ability to travel (80%)
