About the Team

You would join the Safety, Regulatory and Quality Technology Solutions business unit.  This is a global, highly dynamic, and strategic entity within IQVIA. You would concentrate on regulatory solutions.  Having a laser focus on innovative technologies, our solutions are driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to accelerate drug safety/pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and quality transformation within life sciences. 

Our regulatory consultants guide customers on simplifying and optimizing the management of regulatory information by establishing an integrated end-to-end process across the entire regulatory lifecycle of pharmaceutical products and med-tech devices.

About the Role:

As a Senior Consultant within the regulatory technology solutions team, you will participate and/ or lead teams in the design, development and delivery of professional services, projects, or components of larger, complex projects.  Periodically, act as Project Manager, managing project timelines and day to day communication with the client and team members.  Contribute to the improvement and expansion of methodologies and thought leadership.

In this Role You Would:

• Review and analyze client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals of cost effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
• Provide direction and guidance to Analysts, and Consultants assigned to the engagement.
• Develop detailed and high-quality documentation and specifications.
• Perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
• Design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.
• Deliver findings to clients.

• Be perceptive to identify potential new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned clients.

• Recommend improvements and alternative solutions.
• Provide follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
• Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and life sciences market through on-the-job experience and participation in training opportunities.


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of related experience within regulatory affairs, regulatory operations and/or regulatory information management in consulting and/or the life sciences industry.

• Possesses solid project management skills and client influencing and relationship building.
• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
• Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the life science industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area.
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life science industry.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
• Has established network and referral contacts.
• Has necessary subject matter expertise to effectively manage projects within regulatory.
