Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the team that is responsible for the effective delivery of investigator payment services for all countries outside of the U.S. Services include set up of all clinical trial sites based on executed CTAs, payments to sites per contractual agreements for visit activity and pass through invoices, site support, project management, and sponsor support to assigned clients and implementing and onboarding new clients that are utilizing these services.  Additional responsibilities include ensuring the organization is properly resourced, quality levels are maintained to ensure site and sponsor satisfaction, and costs are managed within Budget parameters. 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  •  Provide leadership and direction for ROW Payment organization
  • Provide management oversight to Associate Directors, Managers, and Study Leads
  • Service delivery of investigator payments meets client expectations and contractual commitments
  • Provide client project management and client support for all clinical trials that include clinical trial sites outside of the U.S.
  • Create staffing capacity plan and annual staffing forecast
  • Develop criteria, measure and review performance of the ROW organization in the areas of service levels and client satisfaction
  • Ensure the department is building strong service relationships with client base
  • Participate in sponsor governance meetings
  • Oversee operational productivity and ensure efficiency
  • Participate in pre-sales activities for existing and new clients, as necessary
  • Ensure Directors, Associate Directors and Managers are managing projects within scope of work
  • Attend study kick-off meetings, as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Business required.  Master’s Degree preferred
  •  Minimum of ten (10) years’ related experience
  •  Held Client Services leadership position for a minimum of 5 years

  • Must be customer focused and have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High energy, self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Knowledge of Clinical Trial Industry
