Director, Real World Data Portfolio, RWAS

Our Real-World & Analytics Services (RWAS) division within IQVIA is a fast-growing and highly successful business, focusing upon delivering tangible results to our clients across healthcare value chain who are the decision-makers and business managers across the international pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The role

You will lead the portfolio and product management of the world’s largest collection of healthcare data and Real World Data (RWD), working with a variety of teams to access new sources, enable contracting, ensure compliance, drive roadmaps for technology platforming of data, enable business development and seamless pricing, and enable it’s successful use through data training programs, catalogues and collateral that enable internal and client data scientists to more easily access and apply RWD to solve impactful business problems.

You’ll be working closely with diverse country teams, supplier services and contracting teams, managers of leading RWAS Technology platforms, provider network teams, as well as client teams to take a holistic approach to value creation from the portfolio. You’ll lead a small dedicated team of subject matter expects in product marketing, RWD analytics & mgt, and service enablement that drive the best in class framework for value in RWD via portfolio management. You will help drive strategic planning processes, and report to the SVP of RWAS technology. 



How you'll spend your time

Portfolio development & tracking;

  • Develop and maintain a 3-year roadmap for Real World Data (RWD) access
  • Manage initiatives for data access in new data type (e.g., sensor, OMICS)
  • Drive frameworks and standard contracting / access models for RWD suppliers & partners (e.g., usage permissions / templates / contracts / support
  • Drive inventories across 1000's of asset (e.g., Meta Data catalogues)
  • Ensure compliance & training (e.g., privacy, access & training documentation)

Portfolio commercialization;

  • Track, report and manage the total financial value of the RWD portfolio
  • Manage pricing models including their consistency across distribution channels (access models & technology platforms) and client personas
  • Manage external marketing & collateral, including differential positioning by distribution channel or client buyer personas 
  • Support client teams in pricing & proposals, including client feasibility queries & triage process to find the right data for the right question
  • Drive standard client MSAs for RWD contracting

  • Deep experience Healthcare information & technology commercialization

  • Understanding of a wide variety of healthcare data

  • Proven hands-on leadership managing service operations & contracting

  • Track record of driving change in commercial models

  • Commercial awareness and good understanding of the healthcare, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experience
