Responsible for developing the product roadmap, user scenarios and user interface layout, detailed specifications, features and functionality, and collaborating with designer in translating requirements to development team for the IQVIA Virtual Trial Technology Platform Study Hub.

Supporting the development on design reviews, functionality review and UAT.

The Product Management Director is responsible for the conceptualization, planning, validation and marketing of the IQVIA Virtual Trials Product. The Director has overall responsibility for the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and aligning the output of the entire Product Management organization with the activities of the Development and Delivery teams. The role also demands that the incumbent establish and maintain effective channels of communication and close working relationships with sales, marketing and support staff to ensure that product releases are reliable and predictable, and that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Ultimately, the Product Management Director is responsible for ensuring that the design and functionality of the Virtual Trials Product and all associated marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

In summary, the Product Management Director is expected to:
• Be an expert in the Product Management discipline and, ideally, be certified by one or more Product Management industry organizations;
• Effectively monitor, mentor and manage other Product Managers, and ensure cohesion of the team to ensure consistency and quality of all consultative interactions and all work products;
• Be a credible subject matter expert in the field of Clinical Trial systems and technologies;
• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Virtual Trial product;
• Develop, publish and present engaging whitepapers that align with, and indirectly promote the core capabilities and targeted market positioning of the IQVIA products;
• Guide the creation, and ultimately deliver consolidated MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justifications;
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities;
• Be an expert with respect to the competition;
• Guide the development of the core positioning and messaging for the Product;
• Perform product demos for prospective and existing customers;
• Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals;
• Deliver periodic revenue forecasts;
• Guide the development of sales tools and collateral, and lead product briefings delivered to sales teams at regular meetings;
• Contribute to the management of the overall discovery/development/delivery budget to advance the product roadmap and ensure competitive positioning at all times.

Skills & Requirements
• 10+ years in software product management, software consulting or a comparable role involving a combination of technical and business objectives;
• Deep, relevant experience interacting with customers, internal and 3rd party development teams, consultants, local and remote resources;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with little direct supervision;
• Extraordinary analytic, problem solving, written and oral presentation skills;
• The knowledge and experience to translate business requirements into technical language for developers and testers, and the ability to present complex technical concepts in a form that is easily understood and absorbed by senior business people;
• An Aptitude for synthesizing complex data into a form that can drive informed decisions.

We'd like to see:
• Knowledge of, and hands-on familiarity with formal software product validation processes;
• A Working knowledge of clinical and regulatory processes in the Life Sciences industry;
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a computer technology-related domain.
