Role Purpose

This role is intended to function as the Quarterback for the SVP and GM of US Technology Solutions. In this role you will keep the US Technology Solutions leadership team focused and aligned on our goals across Delivery, Marketing, Go-To-Market / Sales and Operations (includes Commercial Operations, Delivery Operations, HR and Finance business partners). You will also collaborate with leaders in the Global Business Unit, responsible for IQVIA technology solutions across the portfolio. Responsibilities will include managing strategic cross-functional initiatives and commitments most important to the leadership team. Facilitating work flow direction, with an eye on how to move issues forward and how to best connect dots across stakeholders. You will monitor progress of key initiatives, track results and challenges; draw/share insights; and identify and resolve obstacles to improve performance. You'll be the central point of contact for all internal communication and act as a sounding board for team members.

Principal Accountabilities

•Strategic Planning and Ongoing Execution Manager

–Drive annual strategic planning process, in concert with Financial Planning process, across leadership team and stakeholders for US Tech Solutions

–Plan and implement critical strategic priorities, objectives and activities supporting plan

–Drive execution of priorities by documenting and following-up with required actions across the business

–Shape communications and materials, aligning messaging to BU priorities and performance

•Operational Driver

–Work with operations leaders to drive reporting and ensure KPIs are aligned to organization priorities

–Coordinate the Tech Solutions bi-Weekly Management Cadence

–Support misc. operational priorities or issues that emerge on behalf of SVP, driving key Excel analysis and/or PowerPoint collateral needed

•Key Meeting Quarterback

–Lead preparation across workstreams for Quarterly Business Reviews and Operating Reviews with Corporate

–Ensure Center of Excellence performance reviews and deep-dive discussions are prepped and delivered, shaping agenda and intended outcomes to align with executive priorities

–Develop Quarterly Town Hall materials to reinforce performance, organization and offering updates and positive culture

–Lead preparation and/or facilitation for executive level client or internal meetings by engaging with various stakeholders to develop/align on agendas and gather and/or develop facilitation materials

•Executive Communication and Stakeholder Manager

–Collaborate with and influence Leadership team and wider stakeholders to understand common business challenges, issues and facilitate resolution

–Represent the Leadership Team to other stakeholders in the business as required (US RBU, Global RBUs, etc) and ensure alignment to Global / US Tech Solutions and US BU priorities

–Act as liaison-point with other functions (Communications, Marketing, Legal, etc.)

–Work with stakeholders to shape and provide guidance on information that will transit in or out of key executive offices (US RBU President’s office, Global Tech Solutions, Corporate)

We're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of consulting or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
  • Exceptional Interpersonal, networking and communications skills (written and oral) and high EQ
  • Excellent organizational skills, in particular, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Presence and credibility to engage and influence senior leaders across multi-geographies and functions
  • Self-starter attitude and track record with seamlessly executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance
  • Very strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Thrives in a fast-based environment
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of IQVIA – organizational structure, offerings and systems  preferred
  • Knowledge of business and management principles - including planning, process, review, co-ordination of people and resource and operational success measures
  • Effective time management (in self and others)
  • Global organization experience having to work with people of diverse cultures and multiple time zones
  • Thorough understanding of all the best tools and processes to build scalable systems and strong instincts for automation: we want someone who thinks about using technology and self-service
  • Commitment to integrity and transparency
  • Prior experience with technology and services is preferred
