Clinical Trial Educators work on behalf of sponsors to accelerate enrolment in clinical trials.  They act as the trial ambassador, working in collaboration with research teams to develop and implement plans to optimize patient identification and enrolment.

The Project Director will lead an international team of CTEs and will be responsible for successful project performance


•         Ensure projects achieve high standards of performance against key performance indicators

•         Development of project strategy and associated tactical plan

•         Project Management

-      Project set-up

-      Monitoring / measurement of project metrics

-      Project reporting

-      Budget

•         Management of Field Managers and CTEs

-      Staff recruitment / identification of future talent

-      Goal setting

-      Performance management

-      Staff training and development

-      Staff retention

•         Compliance of team activities and processes

•         Key stakeholder liaison – Sponsor, IQVIA

-      Participation in internal / external meetings

•         Active engagement with specified external experts as part of engagement program

•         Planning and facilitation of team meetings and TCs

•         Participate in Business Development capabilities presentations and other activities to drive awareness of CTE offering

•         Development of project case study & content for business development team

•         Proactively recommends solutions for improved study performance

•         Participates in CTE leadership team meetings, adding value through:

-      Participation in operational excellence group

-      Development of operating model / scope of service

-      Sharing of best practice

-      Identification of business opportunities

Job Requirements


  • Proven track record in operations management in pharmaceutical / medical setting (sales / medical affairs leadership)
  • High quality people management skills
  • Ability to manage a complex matrix of stakeholders
