Data Manager role with Real-World Analytics Solutions

Office based in Paris


Within IQVIA, our Real-World Analytics Solutions (RWAS) business unit employs over 1,000 dedicated staff to design, implement and manage real-world and post-marketing studies. As healthcare stakeholders increasingly need evidence to support regulatory, reimbursement and prescribing decisions, the IQVIA RWAS team offers a comprehensive evidence approach to meet our customer’s unique needs for demonstrating safety, effectiveness and quality.  


Role Purpose:

The Data Manager is responsible for designing and implementing the computing databases of global biomedical research and for exploiting those databases to perform data statistical analysis.


Main responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement eCRF and databases, in particular on INES (in house tool)
  • Design the data validation plan (consistency control and cleaning)
  • Ensure data entry, follow-up and validation
  • Manage and solve clarifications requests
  • Ensure terms coding
  • Produce listings and reports
  • Ensure training and technical support for INES users
  • Contribute to methods and systems validation and improvement.
  • Manage INES databases administration for studies he is in charge of, concerning:
    - Users creation
    - Rights allocation
    - Reporting distribution management.

Your background:

You will have a blend of relevant educational level and work experience. We are particularly interested in candidates with a Masters Degree in Database Management in Life Sciences. Your work history will have given you some prior exposure to working with electronic data capture and data management systems. It will be beneficial to have some basic understanding of programming (eg SAS, Visual Basic and / or PL/SQL). You will also need to be able to speak business level English. You will be able to work autonomously in a supportive, collaborative team environment. You will work in a methodical, logical, structured approach and be a great team player.
