Clinical Data Manager role with Real-World Analytics Solutions

Office based in Paris

Within IQVIA, our Real-World Analytics Solutions (RWAS) business unit employs over 1,000 dedicated staff to design, implement and manage real-world and post-marketing studies. As healthcare stakeholders increasingly need evidence to support regulatory, reimbursement and prescribing decisions, the IQVIA RWAS team offers a comprehensive evidence approach to meet our customer’s unique needs for demonstrating safety, effectiveness and quality.  

Role Purpose:

We are recruiting a small team of Clinical Data Managers to be based in our Paris office.  The Clinical Data Manager is responsible for designing and implementing  EDC  for global biomedical research studies and for  providing reports from the EDC databases to perform data statistical analysis.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement eCRF and databases, in particular on INES (in house EDC tool)
  • Design the data validation plan (consistency control and cleaning)
  • Ensure data entry, follow-up and validation
  • Manage and solve clarifications requests
  • Ensure terms coding
  • Produce listings and reports
  • Ensure training and technical support for INES users
  • Contribute to methods and systems validation and improvement.
  • Manage INES databases administration for studies he is in charge of, concerning:
    - Users creation
    - Rights allocation
    - Reporting distribution management.

Your background:

You will have a blend of relevant educational level and work experience. We are particularly interested in candidates with solid clinical data management experience and Masters Degree in Database Management in Life Sciences. Your work history will have given you prior exposure to working with electronic data capture and clinical data management systems. It will be beneficial to have some basic understanding of programming (eg SAS, Visual Basic and / or PL/SQL). You will also need to be able to speak business level English. You will be able to work autonomously in a supportive, collaborative team environment. You will work in a methodical, logical, structured approach and be a great team player.
