Career Opportunity – Operations Manager

Our Data Feeds team is searching for an Operations Manager to lead a dynamic support team with expertise in data processing and analytics. The Operations Manager will apply his or her management skills to ensure quality deliveries from the Privacy Analytics Data Feeds team to suppliers and clients.  The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, management and oversight for data feed onboarding and production support, which includes applying best practices, methodology reviews, and customer support. This role is critical to our ongoing efforts to anonymize our clients’ health data and manage the risk of identification.


  • Manage a small team of Data and Application Support Analysts
  • Attend onboarding meetings with suppliers and clients
  • Manage volume and revenue forecasts, liaising with Finance on a regular basis
  • Prioritize work on a daily or hourly basis as required
  • Act as a mediator to resolve business and technical issues
  • Conduct daily stand up meetings for the day’s upcoming work
  • Remain the key liaison between the business and technical teams
  • Work internally and externally to improve business and technical processes
  • Conduct internal and external knowledge sharing activities
  • Support business growth, which includes supporting new sales
  • Oversee the daily monitoring of data feeds
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data feeds
  • Serve as a backup for the production support team
  • Communicate weekly releases to key stakeholders
  • Manage the onboarding of data feeds for completeness
  • Provide weekly dashboard reporting on status and key operational metrics


  • A post-graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to manage a team and drive operational efficiency and excellence
  • Ability to present work and explain complex technical issues to senior leadership
  • Prone to take initiative and demonstrate self-direction
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Assets:

  • Knowledge of re-identification science, statistical disclosure control, or privacy laws
  • ITIL experience
  • Experience working with health, financial, or marketing data


Occasional travel is required.
