Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project requirements and feasibility
  • Follow project requirements in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner using SAS and/or SQL
  • Follow standard practices
  • Complete thorough documentation of code
  • Format results to meet client specifications including extensive QA
  • Maintain existing code
  • Support the monthly Production of deliverables

Qualifications:


•         Minimum one year SAS programming experience in SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, and SQL programming on a Windows platform

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics,  Economics or equivalent
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills (English is essential)
  • Demonstrated adaptability and innovation
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge and experience with large databases
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Access
  • Ad-hoc reporting experience with longitudinal data
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Background Pluses:

  • SAS BASE and SAS MACRO certification
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical analysis
