Job Description

Contracts & Proposal Manager Job Description:

Provides support to multiple departments within the Patient Access and Affordability division of IQVIA for the review, approval and execution of client and vendor agreements.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Review agreements and prepare correspondence as needed under limited supervision while identifying potential IQVIA risks and issues that may have an adverse effect on IQVIA or the Patient Access and Affordability division.
  • Collaborates with Legal, Finance, various commercial entities, Account Management and Service areas for review and/or issues.
  • Identifies intellectual property risk, which require review/approval, and advises management accordingly.
  • Consults with manager or legal counsel on business/legal issues associated with intellectual property risk to seek workable solutions for IQVIA clients or vendors to extract the maximum value from IQVIA products and services.
  • Adopts best practices and proactively propose new or enhancements to existing processes.
  • Develop broad knowledge of Patient Access and Affordability Products and Services and overall IQVIA business.
  • Thoroughly understand language in various agreements for Third Party accountability.
  • Tracks status of agreements, such as receipt, execution and renewal.
  • Follows up on pending status for timely execution.
  • SME for HIPAA, Privacy and Security Standards for Patient Access and Affordability division.
  • Tracks Compliance for all SOP associated with Patient Access and Affordability division.


Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • BA or equivalent required, or 2-5 years of similar work experience preferred.
  • SalesForce.com (SFDC) experience a plus.
  • SharePoint and Office 365 experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IQVIA business, preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and business acumen.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent follow-up/responsiveness critical.
