Job Description

Our Consultant, Incentive Compensation will process all aspects of sales incentives for our US-based life sciences clients. You will work with our proprietary compensation system to design, implement, and administer incentive compensation plans and reports.  Maintain expert knowledge of incentive compensation best practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Professional consulting services including project delivery and management, incentive compensation plan diagnostics, IC strategy development, analytics, and quality assurance. (20%)
  • System implementation services including business requirements gathering and documentation, initial system/database setup, plan and rules customizations, reports and portal development, system configurations, data validation, client deliverable processing, and testing. (20%)
  • Client focus and communication, including providing managed services to clients including inquiry handling, communication with client stakeholders for deliverables including incentive compensation processing, sales contests and results, and analytics. (30%)
  • Lead continuous system improvements, collaborate with team members to develop innovative and adaptable solutions in order to meet changing client business needs, and create repeatable standards that can be leveraged across the organization. (15%)
  • Begins to develop practice-specific subject matter expertise, and maintain a thorough understanding of various sales compensation plans. (15%)

Skills and Expertise:

Candidates interested in joining the Incentive Compensation CoE as a Consultant should have the following;

  • BA or BS degree in business or a technical field of study, MBA preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in technology- and data-driven analytical work or management consulting.  Ideal candidate will have IC or Sales Operations experience.
  • Experience working in or delivering work to clients in life sciences preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Some familiarity with VBA, SQL, and ETL tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail; ensure accuracy and integrity of the data and results.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Some travel required (up to 25%).
